West Ham faced off Leicester City and won by 2-0, in a fantastic match of Premier League that kept fans on the edge of their seats. West Ham approached the match with noses out of the European places and Leicester looking to keep pace on the final table, two completely contrasting goals. Right from kick-off, the game presented a mixture of high tempo, quick, technical ways, and some very important occurrences that played a role on how the game panned out. West Ham wanted to impose themselves and had a strong mentality in possession with some solid midfield, Leicester countered with quick counters and defence and managed to recreate one of the best games this season.
West Ham’s Clinical Finishing And Dominant Team Play
West Ham grabbed two perfect finishes from their goal scoring opportunities. Their strikers were decent up front and got about the ball well, using Leicester’s sloppy defending. Each goal probably showed a little bit of the excellent timing that West Ham had playing through the gaps in Leicester’s backline, often via cunning combinations, wonderful one vones and set pieces. They the midfielders had to set up chances and win yards, defenders closed down space effectively enough to get the win. It was their attacking end that they showed a teamwork ability really.

A Predicted Victory That Reinforced West Ham’s Strength
West Ham were clearly going to win the match given their form and home advantage at the Craven Cottage would dictate outcome. However, Leicester definitely had to be taken seriously given they troubled some of the top teams this season. Normal expectations were shattered when this contest would be competitive, but in the end it wasn’t even close (West Ham domination) plus impeccable finishing was done by both teams. The output game again confirmed West Ham to be an European player, but also called questions to Leicester who could not cope with their opponents intensity and efficiency.
