Like most people, Reece James is a skilled player with an accurate finish. His 95th-minute free-kick (against Bournemouth) enabled Chelsea to keep the game at 2-2 at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had grabbed the opener when Cole Palmer netted, only to be leveled on points by a penalty from Justin Kluivert at the end of the first half followed by a fine goal by Antoine Semenyo at the start of the second half. Mark Travers starred for the team with crucial saves- two to deny Nicolas Jackson. But it was what happened toward the end in the penalty box area that let Chelsea escape with a point. The draw left Chelsea still winless in their last five league matches, at 37 points in the fourth spot, while Bournemouth, with 34 points, was placed seventh.
Chelsea Lead Bournemouth 1-0 At Half-Time
Chelsea’s opening goal came after a Cole Palmer effort despite Bournemouth’s missed chances. Palmer made a composed shot in the center of the box after a beautiful assist from Nicholas Jackson on 13 goals. Chelsea controlled much of the game as Palmer, Jackson, and Enzo all fired at goal and Mark Travers saved Bournemouth some ship. Bournemouth had some opportunities, with Justin Kluivert hitting the left post and the Moises Caicedo rough foul on the left near the penalty, testing the defense of Chelsea. Despite the close calls, Palmer’s goal represents the difference.

Chelsea And Bournemouth Share The Spoils In 2-2 Draw
At 2-2, the match ended and Chelsea managed to secure a point as they had to come from behind to face Bournemouth. Being designed by a 78th-minute goal, Chelsea found themselves hit back with a penalty through Justin Kluivert early in the half. This came following a foul by Moisés Caicedo. Antoine Semenyo, rather surreally, gave the lead to Bournemouth later on in the 68th minute through a brilliant hit. Nevertheless, in dying minutes, Reece James curled a rather nice free-kick into Chelsea’s net to bring parity into the 95th minute, thereby ending the match in a well-fought game. Chelsea has extended their winless run as they lost fifth successive games.
