Neeraj Chopra And PM Modi

Neeraj Chopra And PM Modi: The Paris Olympics 2024 are approaching soon, scheduled from 26th July to 11th August. Indian athletes are actively preparing for the games. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently met with the Indian players, extending his best wishes and encouraging the nation to support them.

However, some players also participated online during this time. This included badminton star PV Sindhu and javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra. PM Modi had a special request for Neeraj Chopra, mentioning, “Your churma hasn’t arrived yet.” Neeraj replied, “I will bring the churma. Last time it was Haryana’s churma with sugar… made of desi ghee and jaggery.” Modi responded, “I want to eat the churma prepared by your mother.”

Neeraj Chopra added, “Yes, Sir. I’m currently in Germany, and my training is going smoothly. I’ve been cautious with competitions due to frequent injuries. Recently, I competed in Finland and now, with just one month until the Olympics, I’m focused on fully recovering and giving my best in Paris.”

Neeraj Chopra is performing well

Neeraj is currently in excellent form. He clinched the gold medal at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland, on June 18 last month. In his third attempt, Neeraj threw the javelin 85.97 meters, marking his best throw. His victory showcased his form ahead of the Paris Olympics 2024. Toni Keranen of Finland secured the silver medal with a throw of 84.19 meters, while Oliver Helander, also from Finland, took the third spot with 83.96 meters.
