Chennai Super Kings appointed Sridharan Sriram as the new Assistant Bowling coach for the IPL 2025 edition. Sridharan was earlier Royal Challengers Bangaluru’s batting and spin bowling coach in 2019. He will replace Dwayne Brave as the bowling coach who will join Kolkata Knight Rider for the IPL 2025 edition. Sridharan has been Australia A’s coach for 2015 India tour. He also played for RCB during the 2010 IPL season.

Who Is Sridharan Sriram?
He was an assistant coach for the Lucknow Super Giants for 2024 IPL season. He brought in, an abundance of experience while coaching Bangladesh in 2022 T20 World Cup and Asia Cup. Sridharan has been a left hand batter and an unorthodox left-handed spinner. He debuted for India against South Africa in 2000 where he scored just 12 runs in the ODI followed by taking 0 wickets by sparring 36 runs. He has more than 13,000 runs at domestic level for Tamil Nadu.
