Did Toss Play Major Role In Australia’s Loss?
While the Indian team completely outplayed the Aussies in the IND vs AUS 1st Test, toss played a major role as well. Before the IND vs AUS 1st Test, the Aussies played four Tests at the Optus Stadium in Perth and had won all of them while bowling in the fourth innings. Hence, chasing a massive target of 534 runs wouldn’t have been easy for the Australian team. The Aussies were reduced to 12/3 at the end of Day 3 which put more pressure over them on Day 4.
