The Pakistan Cricket Board made it official that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will generate better financial gain than cost Pakistan’s business any losses. According to Cricket Winner, the PCB estimates that holding the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 event will result in profits totaling approximately INR 86.25 crore. The PCB denies speculations about financial loss that would result from India’s absence at matches due to rising political tension with India.

Expected Revenue Sources
The PCB expects major financial gains from several revenue streams which combine ICC broadcasting rights sales with corporate sponsorships between major brands and the PCB and high ticket sales of marquee matches and increased worldwide tourism brought by cricket fans visiting Pakistan.

Contingency Plans for India’s Participation
One vital question persists about whether India will conduct their matches in Pakistan or all games will need to switch to neutral grounds. The ICC maintains the option to shift India’s matches from their original venue to alternative spaces in Sri Lanka or the UAE due to uncertainties from the Indian government. The PCB maintains financial confidence in the tournament despite not knowing yet if some matches must be played outside Pakistan but asserts Pakistan will gain profits no matter where other matches take place.
Preparations and Security Measures
As part of their security strategy both the PCB and government agencies collaborate to deliver end-to-end security provisions to each participating team. The organization together with ICC authorities seeks to achieve international standards in tournament management while upgrading facilities at Karachi and Lahore and Rawalpindi stadiums.
