India failed to secure medals on Monday at Paris Olympics as shooters Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta finished seventh and fourth respectively in the 10m air rifle finals at the National Shooting Centre in Chateauroux. The Indian men’s archery team also lost 2-6 to Turkey in the quarter-finals.

Shooting:
Manu Bhaker, 22, will compete in the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze playoff alongside Sarabjot Singh against South Korea. Prithviraj Tondaiman might enter the men’s trap final with two qualification rounds remaining.

The Indian men’s team, third in Pool B behind Belgium and Australia, will face Ireland, ranked 11th, on Tuesday. Ireland has lost both matches but posed challenges to Belgium and Australia.
