Pakistan is set to tour West Indies in July and August. The tour included 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs. Currently the T20I series is scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3.

The Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket West Indies are in talks to scrap the ODI series and replace it with a T20I series as Pakistan is set to tour West Indies in July and August. The tour included 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs. Currently the T20I series is scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3.

Not the first time

This wouldn’t be the first instance of such a revision. Earlier this year, the PCB and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had agreed to drop an ODI series in favor of additional T20Is for similar preparatory reasons, although they later reverted to a three-match T20I series due to regional tensions.

An official announcement regarding the final schedule for the Pakistan-West Indies series is expected in the coming weeks.
