New Delhi: After the Test series against England, the Pakistan team will face New Zealand at home. The New Zealand team going on the Pakistan tour will play two Tests and three ODIs here. Meanwhile, big news has come to the fore. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday changed the schedule for the upcoming Test and ODI series against New Zealand. PCB has released the revised schedule.

Test series will start from December 26 instead of 27
In a statement, the PCB said the Test series would start a day earlier than scheduled. The Test series was to start from 27 December, but now it will start from 26 December. The PCB said in a statement that the Pakistan Cricket Board and New Zealand Cricket have mutually agreed to revise the schedule of the New Zealand men’s tour of Pakistan by one day.

PCB did not disclose the reasons
The first Test of the two-match series will now be played at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi from 26 December and the second at Multan from 3 January. The three ODIs will be played in Karachi on 10, 12 and 14 January. The PCB, however, did not reveal the reason behind starting the tour a day earlier.

- 1st Test: December 26-30 at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi
- 2nd Test: January 3-7 at Multan Cricket Stadium
- 1st ODI: January 10 at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi
- 2nd ODI: January 12 at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi
- 3rd ODI: January 14 at National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi
