Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been out of action since his horrific car accident in December 2022. The Delhi Capitals skipper had suffered multiple injuries on his body and questions were even arising on the 26-year-old’s career in the future.
Undergoing surgery on his knee for an ACL injury meant that the player was ruled out for 6-7 months automatically. Rishabh spent a lot of days at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for his rehabilitation and shared his progress with his fans every step of the way.
However, one statistic that is coming to the shock of Indian fans is Rishabh’s current Test batting ranking. According to the latest ICC Test rankings, Rishabh Pant is still in the Top 15 Test batters in the world despite of being out of action for over a year now.
It’s been more than 12 months, since Rishabh Pant played test matches.
