Team India played the 2021 World Test Championship final under Virat Kohli’s captaincy but lost to New Zealand. In 2023, under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India played in the World Test Championship final for the second consecutive time but lost to Australia. This is why Rahul Dravid wants Virat Kohli to win the ICC World Test Championship for the Indian team and become the only player in the world to have won all four ICC trophies. After retiring from T20I cricket, Virat Kohli is expected to focus on red-ball cricket going forward. Regarded as one of the greats of Test cricket, Kohli has amassed 8,848 runs and 29 centuries in this format.
