The Queensland government plans to disclose the main stadium site selection for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games on March 25. The March 25 stadium location reveal will happen after all necessary reviews including an independent report due on March 8. The panel has established guidelines that cover stadium reconstruction possibilities as well as suitable athletic venues positions.
Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie told Queensland parliament “all will be revealed” next month.
“Our delivery plan will provide a new way forward and get the Games back on track after three years of Labor delays and wrong priorities, there is little time to waste,” Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie told parliament today.
“Queenslanders no longer want to be embarrassed on the world stage. We will deliver a 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games our state can be proud of and showcase what makes us a great state on the world stage.”

The Queensland government plans to seek approval from important Olympic partners such as the International Olympic Committee and representatives from the Commonwealth before making their final decision. The state Cabinet stands ready to confirm the delivery plan during its meeting on March 24 and the public will receive this announcement on the following day.
The 2032 Olympics will be hosted by Brisbane from Friday, 23 July 2032 to Sunday, 8 August 2032.
