According to Salman Ali Agha his team requires significant development within batting and bowling before they can succeed in the upcoming powerplay matches. Throughout the power play our bowling brought out strong performance from Haris alongside the team. According to Agha both the bowling and batting performances during the powerplay need enhancements from his team. Fast bowler Haris Rauf defended the team by delivering 2/20 runs through his strong performance. Our team demonstrated their full effort but we faced an unfavourable outcome. Rauf acknowledged their fortune ran against them during the match. The match’s shortened duration due to rain prevented Pakistan from defending their total of 135 runs against Afghanistan.

The New Zealand batting pursuit began with force when Tim Seifert and Finn Allen combined to reach 66 runs in the first overs. In the seventh over Sodhi launched two consecutive deliveries that eliminated four Pakistani batsmen to leave their team at 52-4. Pakistan’s batting performance reached 135/9 as Agha scored 46 while Shadab Khan managed 24 but their total proved insufficient.
