While Cheteshwar Pujara may not have been in consideration for Test matches in recent years, he was a prolific scorer for India during his peak, excelling across all conditions and establishing himself as one of the best players of spin.
Former England off-spinner Graeme Swann recently admitted in a Sky Sports Cricket podcast that he disliked bowling to the 35-year-old batsman. Swann, who played a crucial role by taking 20 wickets in England's memorable series win in India in 2012, highlighted Pujara's nimbleness on his feet as a challenging aspect for bowlers.
“It’s strange when I look back at the team they had — VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli— and the one that I didn’t like bowling to was Pujara.” Graeme Swann said.
