Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma are not only household names in Indian cricket but are also counted among the wealthiest cricketers in the world. The luxurious lifestyles of these cricketers, with their flashy cars, and expensive houses, are widely observed.
However, you’ll be surprised to know that the most expensive house among cricketers worldwide does not belong to Sachin, Dhoni, Virat, or Rohit. Instead, it belongs to an unknown player – a female cricketer from Gujarat named Mridula Kumari Jadeja.
Spread across 225 acres, Mridula Jadeja’s ‘Ranjit Vilas Palace’ is located in Rajkot. Don’t be confused by the name Jadeja as she has no relation to the Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. In reality, Mridula Kumari Jadeja comes from the royal family of Rajkot.
The current owner of the sprawling Ranjit Vilas Palace, spanning 225 acres, is Mandhata Singh Jadeja, Mridula’s father, who is part of Rajkot’s royal family. The Ranjit Vilas Palace, styled in a Gothic setup, encompasses around 150 rooms. Along with several vintage luxury cars, it also houses an invaluable garage. This palace stands among a few select palaces in India where descendants of former royalty still reside, and it hasn’t been converted into a heritage hotel.

Mridula Jadeja frequently shares photos of her vast royal residence on social media. The palace also hosted India’s most expensive royal wedding. The estimated value of the Ranjit Vilas Palace was marked at 4,500 crores INR, which included a lake farm, a silver chariot, jewelry, and several vintage cars.
Rohit and Kohli’s Residence
Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma resides in a luxurious apartment on the 29th floor of a 53-storey tower in Mumbai, which is valued at around 30 crores INR. Virat Kohli and his Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma own a villa worth 80 crores INR in Gurugram. The cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar lives in an extravagant mansion valued at 80 crores INR in Bandra, Mumbai. Dhoni resides in his sprawling farmhouse spread across seven acres, which holds a current market value of within 10 crores INR.
