“If you get Shahrukh Khan, Amir Khan, and Salman Khan for one movie, it doesn’t mean it will be a hit film. You have to perform. There has to be something in the script. Look at these big names…they all have to perform. Rohit scored one hundred and it was in a losing cause. In the remaining matches, when did he perform? Ishan Kishan has not gone beyond the powerplay the entire season. So the only two players who are certain are Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav. Sehwag’s Advice To Mumbai Indians
In light of this, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag offered some intriguing advice to the MI management ahead of the IPL 2025 mega-auction, suggesting two names for top priority retention, neither of which were Hardik Pandya or Rohit Sharma.
During a panel discussion, Manoj Tiwary remarked that he doesn’t believe Rohit Sharma himself is keen on being retained. This led to a playful comment from the anchor, hinting at a viral video involving Rohit Sharma and KKR’s assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.
In the video, Rohit and Nayar were heard discussing ‘things changing’, with Rohit mentioning that “it’s his last”. Although the exact context of their conversation remains unclear, fans speculated that they might have been discussing the current state of affairs at Mumbai Indians, particularly regarding Hardik Pandya’s captaincy.
