As Team India looks all set to begin their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, the first batch of players including the likes of skipper Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Jasprit Bumrah boarded the flight to the United States of America in order to prepare themselves for the quadrennial tournament. However, there was one face that was missing among all the cricketing stars.

No Virat Kohli With Team India?
Indian star batter Virat Kohli was not seen among the players despite being expected to fly with the first batch of players traveling to the US. Not seeing Virat board the flight alongside his teammates raised concerns for the fans who started to question why the 35-year-old wouldn’t be there.
While some reports say that Virat Kohli’s paperwork for the travel hasn’t been done yet, some suggest that Virat has taken a short break and will meet his teammates on June 1. This could also mean that Virat Kohli could miss the warm-up match for Team India ahead of the World Cup.
Virat Kohli hasn’t been in action since the IPL Eliminator 1 loss against the Rajasthan Royals which saw his RCB bow out of the competition yet again. Kohli was visibly dejected after the defeat as his aim to win as his aim to win an IPL trophy still hasn’t been accomplished.
