Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy had a blast in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The latter scored a hundred during the fourth Test match in Melbourne and helped the Indian team make a comeback. In total, Reddy smashed 298 runs from five games and became Team India’s second-leading run-scorer of the series. The latter also picked up five wickets with the ball which and played the role of a fifth bowler really well.

Nitish Kumar Reddy Set To Play Domestic Cricket
Nitish Kumar Reddy is now expected to feature for Andhra Pradesh in the second round of Ranji Trophy. However, he will not be playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as his team hasn’t made it to the knockouts of the tournament. The latter has only played one domestic match this season. Andhra have only two games left this season which are against Puducherry and Rajasthan. They will begin from January 23 and 30 respectively.

Apart from Nitish Kumar Reddy, players such as Prasidh Krishna and Devdutt Padikkal are expected to join the Karnataka squad for the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Washington Sundar will also be available for Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, KL Rahul, who played all five games of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has asked for a break and may not feature in the knockout round of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, his future in domestic cricket will be decided later.
