Prithvi Shaw, former under-19 World Cup winning captain for India, was in a conversation with News24. Prithvi Shaw opened up on many topics related to his personal as well as professional life. Last seen in the 2024 IPL, Shaw aspires to make a comeback in the Indian franchise cricket. Upon asking which team he would prefer to make a comeback with, Shaw replied which surprised the spectators. The former under-19 captain has a desire to play for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Prithvi Shaw was part of the Delhi Capitals since 2018 and was not retained in the 2025 IPL auctions that took place at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Prithvi Shaw represents the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been part of the Delhi franchise since 2018. He was retained by the team for the IPL 2020, 2021, and 2022 seasons. Prithvi Shaw last played an IPL match on April 20, 2024, for the Delhi Capitals against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, as per Mykhel. He scored 13 runs off 7 balls in that game. He was not signed by Delhi Capitals for the season of IPL 2025 and remained unsold at the auction.
