New ICC Chair Jay Shah Explores Olympic Collaboration Ahead Of LA 2028

This week, new ICC Chair Jay Shah met with IOC President Thomas Bach and other senior officials from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) during the LA 2028 International Federations seminar at the Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland. Accompanied by ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice, Shah’s meeting with Bach marked a significant first encounter.

“We discussed a range of critical issues and continued to build relationships with our friends across the Olympic movement. We look forward to the next three and half years working in collaboration with the IOC and LA 2028,” Shah said.
