The star player of MI Naman Dhir made a big statement while downplaying the threat of the LSG’s fast bowler Mayank Yadav who just made his comeback after the recent face off against him in the MI vs LSG clash at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday April 27.

“It’s nothing special. He is bowling, I am batting; it’s nothing special. It’s another bowler to face for me. I won’t say I prepared much against him. Yes, I watched his videos of what he will bowl and what shots I can play, but I would say it’s another bowler for me to face.” said Naman Dhir in his post match press conference.

In yesterdays clash between MI and LSG Naman Dhir delivered 46 runs from his 24 balls. Naman Dhir mad a 69 run partnership with Suryakumar Yadav which helped MI to recover after MI lost their opening batsman prematurely. The team ended up winning the match by a huge margin of 54 runs and Naman Dhir finished the match being not out.
Mayank Yadav’s Performance
After six months of abstinence from competitive play Mayank Yadav showed decreased speed on the field before being injured he used to bowl at a speed of 156.7kph and yesterday he was seen bowling at the highest speed of 142.7kph. The player took 4 wickets while giving away just 40 runs in his four over bowling innings that also during his first match in six months but it still was not sufficient as the team ended up losing the match by a huge margin of 54 runs.
