With a few hours of removing the Rohit Sharma as Captain for the upcoming season 14 for the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mumbai Indians have lost 2 Lakh Followers on Instagram.
The fans are angry over the recent announcement made by the Mumbai Indians – making Hardik Pandya as the new captain of the team replacing Rohit Sharma and ending his decade long captaincy.
On December 15, Mumbai Indians took the matter to Instagram and wrote, “Hardik Pandya announced as captain for the IPL 2024 season.”

“Mumbai Indians today announced a significant leadership transition for the upcoming 2024 season. Renowned all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to take the helm as the captain of the Mumbai Indians, succeeding its longest-serving, one of the most successful and loved captains the illustrious Rohit Sharma,” it stated.
