MS Dhoni On Rise Of PR And Social Media
MS Dhoni is often seen making media appearances and expressing his views on various topics. MSD was asked about social media and PR. Dhoni stated that he has never been a big fan of social media, and when he started playing in 2004, Twitter was developing. He added that one of his managers told him to build a strong PR, however, he opined that a player doesn’t need a PR if he is performing well.
He said at Eurogrip Tried Talks, “I have never been a big fan of social media. Throughout, I have had so many managers and all of them keep pushing. I started playing in 2004; Twitter got popular later on, after which Instagram came in. All the managers told me, ‘you should do some PR, build this and build that’. I had the same answer that if you play good cricket, you don’t need PR.”
MS Dhoni always known for his cool and calm style of play has been an inspiration for various upcoming cricketers. MSD is often seen giving advice to many talented cricketers after every IPL match and may be doing the same role when he goes out on the field in the Indian Premier League 2025.
