Croatia overpowered Morocco in possession
Croatia held the ball 65% of the time in the match. Real Madrid’s star player and Koscia captain Luka Modric anchored the midfield. They created great chances, but the team failed to finish inside the penalty box.
The special thing is that Croatia did not get a single yellow card. They didn’t give Morocco a chance to take even a single corner. This denied Morocco a chance to score. With this, Croatia and Morocco got 1-1 point in Group F.
