Former New Zealand captain and batting sensation, Kane Williamson, was not seen in the 15-member squad that will tour Zimbabwe for a 2-match Test series later by the end of this month. Since this will not be part of the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle, and given the current situation in the ongoing South Africa and Zimbabwe Test match, Williamson opted not to feature in the test series. The former Kiwi skipper has his county commitments. Following his stint with Middlesex, he will be featuring for the Hundred, representing the London Spirit.

How Much Money Will He Receive?
Williamson joined Middlesex in 2025 and will be seen in both the Vitality Blast and the county championship. He will be available for at least 10 T20 games for Middlesex and 5 for the county championship in the second half of the season, which will also feature in the Hundred for the London Spirit. Williamson was unsold in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction and will now be using his blade for the English county club. His partnership with the English club is reportedly to be £306,809.00 (Rs. 3,57,48,065.40) per year.
Zimbabwe Destroyed At Home
The Zimbabwe team is currently playing the 2nd match of the 2-match Test series in Zimbabwe against the WTC 2025 champions, South Africa. The Proteas once again displayed their prowess and justified their title as champions. The first Test match was already won by the visitors by 328 runs, while being devastated by them in the second match, Zimbabwe seems to struggle by getting all out on just 170 runs while chasing a massive target of 627. Wiaam Mulder, the Proteas skipper, smashed a blazing triple century on his inaugural game as Test captain.
