Mitchell Starc Goes Gaga Over Jasprit Bumrah, Calls Him ‘Best Across All Format’ Bowler

Australian pacer Mitchell Starc heaped praise on Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah just ahead of the IND vs AUS 1st Test 2024.

Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the India national cricket team in the first IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 Test match set to be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Rohit Sharma will be missing out from the match due to personal reasons, and apart from leading the side, Bumrah will have the responsibility to anchor the bowling attack. The Perth surface will be very much accessible for the bowlers and will provide a lot of bounce and pace to the pacers. While, the Indian team will certainly face a tough challenge from the Australian team, Bumrah will have a key responsibility to take wickets.

Mitchell Starc Heaps Praise On Jasprit Bumrah

Australian pacer Mitchell Starc has heaped praise on Jasprit Bumrah and while speaking to Triple M Cricket, and stated that he is the best bowler across all the formats. Bumrah has emerged to be better than before ever since he has made a comeback from his back injury. The right handed Indian pacer bowled some brilliant spells in the T20 World Cup 2024 and played a major role in Team India’s tournament triumph. Mitchell Starc said, “The execution skill of Jasprit Bumrah at the moment is probably the best across all format.”

Jasprit Bumrah has earlier led the Indian team on a three-match Ireland tour and one Test match against England. The Indian team ended up winning the T20I series whereas were close to win the only Test match against England in 2022. On the other hand, the Indian team has won the previous four editions of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Out of the previous four tours, two series were in Australia and they will wish to perform in the same manner this time as well.
