‘Missed A Ferrari By 23 runs’ – Virender Sehwag Reacts After His Son Aaryavir Misses Out Triple Hundred By Three Runs (See Post)

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag's son Aaryavir smashed 297 runs during the Delhi vs Meghalaya Cooch Behar Trophy match.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag was known for his aggressive and fragile batting while opening the innings for the India national cricket team. Sehwag was known or hitting boundaries from the first ball and keep the bowler under pressure. The former Indian opener also holds the record of hitting two triple hundreds in Test cricket and was known as the ‘Sultan of Multan’. While Sehwag retired from international cricket, he also showcased his skills in the commentary box as well and has mentored teams during the Indian Premier League.

While Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the present time who reflect Virender Sehwag’s playing style and approach, Sehwag’s son Aaryavir is also not behind both the batters. AaryavirWhile played an innings of 297 runs off 309 balls and missed out on a triple hundred by three runs during a match in the Cooch Behar Trophy. Virender Sehwag came up with a response for the same and shared a post on ‘X’. The tweet read, “Well played Aaryaveer Sehwag. Missed a Ferrari by 23 runs. But well done, keep the fire alive and may you score many more daddy hundreds and doubles and triples. Khel jaao..”

While opening the innings for Delhi against Meghalaya in the Cooch Behar Trophy, Meghalaya were wrapped up for 260 runs in the first innings. In reply on day 2 of the match, Delhi took a huge lead of 208 runs wherein Aaryavir Sehwag and his partner put up a 180-run opening stand. However, Bagga got out after scoring a century, Aaryavir went onto score a double century and got out for 297 runs to miss out his triple century.
