In a historic moment for Indian chess, D Gukesh has been crowned the World Chess Champion of 2024, making him not only the 18th World Champion but also the youngest undisputed champion in the history of the game! His incredible journey to the top has been greatly supported by the WestBridge-Anand Chess Academy (WACA), a partnership between WestBridge Capital and Viswanathan Anand.

To celebrate this monumental achievement, WestBridge Capital will host a special event in Bangalore on January 5, 2025—and you’re invited to join the celebration!

On this exciting day, you’ll have the chance to meet Gukesh, Vishy Anand, and key members of Team Gukesh at the Good Shepherd Auditorium in Bangalore, starting at 4 PM IST.
