It was a moment of immense pride for Madhya Pradesh as Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a Rs 1 crore reward for Kranti Goud, the young pace sensation from the Indian women’s cricket team that created history by winning its first-ever ICC Women’s ODI World Cup on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old Kranti Goud, who hails from Ghuwara village in Chhatarpur district, played a vital role in India’s World Cup campaign, showcasing grit, speed, and determination that symbolized the spirit of the team. Announcing the reward on Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav congratulated Kranti and the entire Indian women’s team for their outstanding performance and dedication. He praised Kranti’s contribution, calling her “the pride of Chhatarpur and Madhya Pradesh.”
