The World Test Championship final will be held between June 11 and June 15 at the iconic Lord’s, London. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the game also has a reserve day on June 16.
This will the third edition of the WTC final that will be held in England. The first one was in 2021, which was held in Southampton when New Zealand beat India and the second final was held at The Oval, London in 2023 when Australia beat India.
Currently in the WTC standings, India are on top with Australia is on second position. The sides that finish top two over a two-year cycle of Test cricket contest in the final.

The Australian skipper Pat Cummins said, ‘Winning the World Test Championship was, and still is, a big goal for this team. It is the culmination of hard work and consistency over the two-year cycle for all teams. So hopefully we will be there again, there’s a lot of cricket still to be played between now and then, and the fans can get a chance to watch us defend the title’.

Guy Lavender, the Chief Executive and Secretary of the Marleybone Cricket Club (MCC), said, ‘This will be the first time that Lord’s hosts the big game. ‘Test match days at Lord’s are special and to welcome the two best men’s sides in the world at the time, to battle it out at the Home of Cricket, will be a cricketing experience not to be missed’.
