Michael Owen, who played for Liverpool and later shifted to Real Madrid opened up about Trent Alexander-Arnold’s rumoured transfer to Real Madrid. Owen revealed about the stature and level of Arnold and how the Spanish giants have an old habit of targeting elite talented footballers. His tweet read, “The very fact that Real Madrid have now made their intentions clear towards signing Trent Alexander Arnold leads me to believe that it’s only a matter of time before he signs for them. If he was going to sign a contract extension, Madrid wouldn’t have officially made their move. Secretive talks will have taken place. Huge news.”
The potential transfer of Trent Alexander-Arnold will certainly be a part of Real Madrid for building a strong squad. Real Madrid signed Jude Bellingham, Arnold’s teammate from England ahead of the 2024 season and the latter has proven to be very effective in helping the Los Blancos to wins in La Liga and UEFA Champions League.
