KL Rahul was struggling to score runs throughout Indian Premier League 2024. Rahul’s strike rate was very slow and didn’t meet the standards of T20I cricket. The right-handed Indian batter also engaged in an animated chat with LSG co-owner Sajiv Goenka after they suffered a disappointing loss at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous edition of the tournament. Rahul also reacted to the loss and stated that it brought down their heads. However, the latter has looked in decent touch while playing for India during the first Test against Australia and is very likely to lead the Delhi Capitals.
