KKR Star Fined 100% Of Match Fees, Suspended For One Game

This comes after Rana's first offense, where he was fined for a similar animated celebration during KKR's game against SRH on March 23, where he blew a flying kiss directed at Mayank Agarwal, the dismissed batsman.

KKR star bowler Harshit Rana has received a one-match suspension and has been fined the entirety of his match fee for violating the IPL Code of Conduct for the second time this season. The incident occurred during KKR’s recent victory against Delhi at Eden Gardens on April 29. Rana’s second infraction marks him as the inaugural player in the IPL 2024 season to incur a ban for breaching the code of conduct.

Harshit Rana showcased his explosive talent during KKR’s triumph over Delhi at Eden Gardens, delivering a match-winning performance with figures of 2 for 28 in 4 overs. The dynamic fast bowler, hailing from Delhi, displayed an animated gesture towards DC’s Abhishek Porel after dismissing the left-handed batsman in the 7th over of the match.
