South Africa’s full-time Test skipper, Temba Bavuma will lead South Africa in the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, which will take place in Durban later this month as has recovered from his elbow injury. The 14 player squad list released by red-ball head coach Shukri Conrad includes all-rounder Marco Jansen and fast bowler Gerald Coetzee for the first time since the series against India last summer.

Temba Bavuma has an impressive test career. He has appeared in 59 matches and 101 innings. He has score 3102 runs with a strike rate of 48.28 and an average of 35.25. The all-rounder Jansen batted in 13 matches with 401 with a strike rate of 45.67 and an average of 23.58 and took 49 wickets. Gerald Coetzee lacks in experience as compared to the other arrivals. He has appeared in 3 matches with 10 wickets.There inclusion in the team is will certainly benefit the players majorly with the experience and expertise of skipper Bavuma has to offer.
