‘Jitni security bula sakte ho bula lo’ Pakistani YouTuber sparks outrage with threat ahead of Asia Cup 2025 final

India have already bested Pakistan twice in this tournament, once in the group stage and again in the Super-4, both times with commanding performances.

The stage is set for the most electrifying clash in recent cricket history – India vs Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final, their third face-off in this tournament. But this time, the stakes are higher, the mood is tense, and cricket is only part of the story.

India have already bested Pakistan twice in this tournament, once in the group stage and again in the Super-4, both times with commanding performances. The Men in Blue have looked dominant and disciplined, setting themselves up as clear favourites. Yet, Sunday’s final in Dubai promises a different kind of battle. This time, it’s not just about skill – it’s about pride, pressure, and politics.

A Heated Build-Up

Pakistan entered the final with back-to-back wins over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, giving them a boost of momentum at just the right time. But while their cricket has improved, off-field controversies have kept the rivalry boiling.

The tournament has been marred by incidents that have gone beyond cricket. It all started with the Pahalgam terror attack before the Asia Cup began, a tragic incident that added a layer of tension to an already high-stakes rivalry. Emotions peaked after India’s group-stage win, when skipper Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the victory to the victims of the attack. Pakistan’s cricket board (PCB) lodged a formal complaint to the ICC, accusing the Indian captain of breaching the Code of Conduct. However, the ICC dismissed the complaint, sparking further outrage from Pakistan’s side.

When Cricket Meets Chaos

As the on-field action intensified, so did the drama. In the Super 4 clash, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan courted controversy with an ‘AK-47’ celebration after taking a catch – a gesture many saw as mocking and inappropriate. Haris Rauf also found himself at the centre of controversy, clashing with Indian openers and later making gestures toward the crowd. The heat from those moments has only fanned the flames ahead of the final.

And now, YouTubers are joining the chaos.

A Threat From Social Media

Adding fuel to the already raging fire, Pakistani YouTuber Muhammad Furqan Bhatti has stirred controversy with a veiled threat towards Team India. In a viral video, Bhatti warned that if Pakistan wins the Asia Cup final, there might be a need for extra security for Indian players during the post-match presentation.

“Agar Pakistan Asia Cup jeet gaya to cricket ke itihaas mein pehli baar post-match presentation hogi jisme jitni security bula sakte ho, bula lo,” Bhatti said, drawing widespread criticism across social media.

Such statements highlight how the intensity of the India-Pakistan rivalry often spills beyond the boundaries of sport – sometimes in ways that threaten to overshadow the game itself.

Officials on High Alert

In response, match officials and tournament organisers have issued stern warnings to both sides, urging players and team members to maintain discipline and avoid stoking tensions. Security in Dubai has been ramped up significantly, especially around the stadium and team hotels. Any repeat of unsportsmanlike behaviour could have serious consequences, officials warned.

All Eyes on Dubai

As the world tunes in to witness the final showdown, one thing is clear – this is more than just a cricket match. For India, it’s a chance to underline their dominance and lift another Asia Cup trophy. For Pakistan, it’s about redemption and national pride.

With young stars like Abhishek Sharma shining bright for India and tensions high on both sides, the Asia Cup 2025 final promises fireworks – just not the kind Dubai authorities have banned inside the stadium.

Whatever happens on Sunday night, the story of this final will be told and retold – not just for the cricket, but for everything that came with it.
