With Team India winning their first match in Cape Town after 31 years, they have the pacers to thank for the victory, especially India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
Bumrah was adjudged as the Man of the Series in Team India’s 2-match Test series and among many records that he made during the away series, he also surpassed Australian legend Shane Warne in an elite list after his 6-wicket haul in the 2nd Test.
The 30-year-old has surpassed Warne on 2nd position in terms of most wickets on the Cape Town pitch. Bumrah now has 18 scalps in Cape Town, one more than spin legend Shane Warne.

Former England spinner Colin Blythe is on the top spot with 25 wickets in Cape Town.
Bumrah also became the bowler with 2nd most fifers against SENA nations (Soth Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia), one behind Indian legend Kapil Dev who has 7 fifers in his bag.
With Siraj demolishing the South Africa batting lineup on Day 1 with 6 wickets, Bumrah did the same on Day 2 and restricted the home side at just 176, taking 6 wickets on the day.
