New Delhi: Team India suffered a great deal of disappointment in Asia Cup 2022 as they were missing on some of their key players in the team. Pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja were ruled out of the tournament due to injuries.
Two of these players have made a comeback after recovering fully from their injury and that will be a celebratory news for Men in Blue.
Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel attain fitness
Both Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were in rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for recovery. However, he has become fit for the T20 World Cup. According to the report of Cricbuzz, Bumrah and Patel have achieved fitness. Jasprit Bumrah had a back injury, while Harshal Patel was ruled out due to a side strain.
Bumrah-Patel to get chance in T20 World Cup
After the Asia Cup, the Indian team got a break of 11 days. Now Team India will play a series of three T20 matches against Australia in their home from 20 September. Four fast bowlers were selected for the Asia Cup 2022, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan, Hardik Pandya. But now Avesh Khan may not go for the T20 World Cup. In this way Bumrah, Bhuvi, Pandya, Arshdeep and Harshal can be selected for the T20 World Cup.
