India and Australia are all set to clash against each other in the fourth Test of the five-match series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. The IND vs AUS 4th Test is set to begin from December 26 as the five-match series is currently levelled at 1-1. Both the teams will be hoping on winning the match and take a necessary lead. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been the key highlight of the series for the Indian team as of now and is currently the leading wicket-taker of the contest. On the other hand, Australian captain Pat Cummins has also displayed a brilliant performance and will look to repeat the same in Melbourne as well.

Jasprit Bumrah And Steve Smith Inches Away From Elite Milestones
Jasprit Bumrah is currently sitting at 194 Test wickets and is just six scalps away from picking up 200 Test wickets. He will look forward to achieve the feat in the upcoming IND vs AUS 4th Test. Other than Bumrah, five Indian fast bowlers including Kapil Dev, Ishant Sharma, Javagal Srinath and Mohammed Shami have picked up more than 200 wickets for India in Tests. On the other hand, Australian batter will be willing to complete 10000 runs in Test cricket during the fourth Test in Melbourne. Smith is just 191 runs away from reaching the 10000-run mark and joining other players such as Allan Border, Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting.
Both India and Australia are known for their competitive attitude on the field and the same has been seen during the IND vs AUS 2024-25 Test series. The Indian team ended up winning the first Test in Perth whereas were outplayed in Adelaide. On the other, rain won in Brisbane and it ended up in a draw.
