Jannik Sinner is all set to make his return in the China Open at Beijing. It comes two weeks after the US Open final which he lost against Carlos Alcaraz. It was not just the final, but he also lost the World No.1 ranking, ending Sinner’s impressive 65-week tenure at the top. Now going forward Sinner is more eager to claim back his spot and make a strong comeback.
Jannik Sinner starts preparation for China Open
In 2024, Sinner lost the China Open final to Alcaraz and but this year the Spaniard has opted to not take part in Beijing rather he will be competing in Tokyo. Sinner touched down in China several days earlier and has already started rigorous training.

But one of the moment that caught everyone’s eye was that while training Sinner casually reached into his pocket and flawlessly pocketed the ball with impeccable hand-eye coordination, sending it exactly where he intended without a miss.

New physiotherapist for Sinner
One of a crucial development also comes ahead of China Open that Sinner has appointed a new physiotherapist Alejandro Resnicoff in his team. Resnicoff comes with massive experience of 15 to 20 years and gained recognition when Jakub Mensik publicly lauded him after his Miami Open win.

After the US Open final, Sinner is even more focused to work on the loopholes and the concerns highlighted by his coach about ball toss.
