With the India vs England 5-match Test series done and dusted, there were some events that sparked some controversy and heated moments among players as well. One such event was shared between English pacer Jimmy Anderson and Indian batter Shubman Gill.

Legendary England fast bowler James Anderson disclosed on Tuesday what he said to Indian batsman Shubman Gill during their verbal exchange in the fifth Test match between England and India in Dharamsala. Anderson, who achieved the remarkable milestone of 700 Test wickets on the third day of the match, had dismissed Gill earlier in the game.

Subsequently, Anderson has revealed the content of their exchange. Speaking on the BBC Tailenders Podcast, Anderson stated that he teased Gill about his performance in overseas Test matches.
Gill, who had scored a brilliant century in the match, had engaged in some words with Anderson just before reaching his milestone. However, when questioned about the exchange in a post-day press conference, Gill opted to keep the conversation private.
