What Bethell Said After Wining The Match

After winning the “Player of the match” award, Bethell talked about his IPL experience and how it helped his batting approach. “It is pretty special. Putting in a great performance was special. I enjoyed batting in the middle order. Today was easy when I came in to bat as we were on top. I back myself once I am in. Dot balls are never good for a batter’s mind. it is perfect I get a few boundaries early on.

I learnt a lot. I felt the experience was beneficial (About IPL). I am a better batter than I was two months ago before the IPL. Virat (Virat Kohli) was great as he shared his experience.

Match Summary

England batted first and made merry on that flat bed and scored 400. Windies bowlers looked hapless as they sprayed the ball all around and gave away far too many runs. Windies were asked to chase down 401 and they were never in the race as they kept losing regular wickets. In the end, lost with a mammoth margin.
