Cairo: India shooters are currently participating in the ISSF World Championships in Cairo and Rhythm Sangwan has qualified for the ranking matches.

Sangwan finished third at qualification stage with a score of 587 and reserved herself a place in the ranking matches of the women’s 25m pistol event.

On the other hand, India star shooter and Tokyo Olympian Manu Bhakar finished 10th and thus, failed to qualify further. 

Bhakar got the score of 583 and tied with three other players. Greek Shooter Anna Korakaki had surpassed Indian player Manu Bhakar, German Monika Karsch, and German Michelle Skeries on basis of inner tens.

Rhythm Sangwan is the only player for now who has moved further in the tournament as Abhidnya Patil, another Indian participant, finished 19th with 580 score.
