While WWE has yet to confirm whether Trump (or even Vince McMahon) will be at Cena’s final match, the topic is being discussed within WWE, as WWE superstar Logan Paul has confirmed.
When Trump became the second time President of the United States, Vince’s son-in-law and WWE CCO Triple H praised Trump many times and even called him “larger than life”.
All eyes caught up in Washington DC when WWE announced John Cena’s final match would be at Saturday Night’s Main Event in the same city.
Logan Paul Addresses John Cena Possibility of Donald Trump Presence
When WWE’s Logan Paul spoke to Fox News, he admitted that Trump’s name has been going on in cards during the talks.
“We have talked about it. I have no idea. It seems like something that could happen. I think it’d be awesome. But I don’t know how political the WWE wants to get, so I’m not sure.”
“I am disappointed that I did not come out victorious. He’s really good. I don’t know what to say. Like, halfway through the match, I was like, ‘Oh, this is like a different level of wrestler.’ But yeah, I mean, it’s John Cena, so I got my match.”
Regarding a potential rematch with Cena, Paul would be up for it, but based on Cena’s past comments, it appears unlikely.
“I’ll see if I can try to convince him to come back for one more so I can beat him next time. But although he told me that he’s not going to do that, he’s not going to do that.”
Logan Paul also clarified he didn’t mean people in WWE have talked about it, but rather he and his friends.
