New Delhi: The India vs Pakistan clash in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 has already sparked a lot of controversy amongst the fans of both the teams. In the recent times, two prominent players of the teams have been ruled out of the tournament and former players and fans are mocking each other.

In the recent update on Pakistan team, it has been announced that their star player Shaheen Shah Afridi is injured and will not be a part of the team. After the news, Pakistan former player Waqar Younis said that it is a “big relief” for India that Afridi is not playing.

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan indirectly replied to the tweet saying that Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel not playing is relief for other teams.

“It’s a relief of other teams that Bumrah and Harshal aren’t playing this Asia cup!” he said.

Bumrah is injured and thus, ruled out of the game. Patel hasn’t recovered fully, so he will also out of the tournament.

Reacting to the tweet, former India opener Wasim Jaffer posted lyrics of songs that read, “Chahe tum kuch na kaho maine sun liya.”
