New Delhi: The preparations for IPL 2023 have already been completed. All the franchises have submitted their retention list to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of the mini auction to be held on 15th November. Yesterday was the last day to retain and release players. The biggest news of IPL retention is that two franchises have released their captains ahead of the upcoming season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings released their captain
Sunrisers Hyderabad has released Kane Williamson from the team, while Mayank Agarwal has been released from Punjab Kings. CSK has released Dwayne Bravo. Apart from this, there are many other veterans, who have been shown the way out by the franchise. Know their names below.

Specialty of this IPL auction
The designated amounts of all the teams will be updated after the release of the qualification list for IPL 2023. In this Rs 5 crore will also be added. Till now the credit limit of the teams used to be 90 crores, but now it has been increased to 95 crores.
