Jos Buttler, one of the most eyed players in the IPL 2025 auction, was initially a subject of intense bidding between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Gujarat Titans. the auctioneer allegedly mispronounced the amount by saying “₹15.75 crore” when she intended to call out ₹15.50 crore. This error resulted in Buttler being sold to GT at a higher price, claimed by cricket.com on Twitter.
