Indian fast-bowling maestros Mohammed Shami, Mohammad Siraj and Bhuveshwar Kumar are set to wear new colors in IPL 2025 after Sunrisers Hyderabad secured Shami’s services for a hefty INR 10 crore, Gujarat Titans bought the fast bowler Mohammad Siraj for Rs 12.25 crore after outbidding Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals and the Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired Bhuvneshwar Kumar for 10.75 crore during the recent mega auction.
Shami and Sunrisers
Shami, who entered the auction with a base price of INR 2 crore, sparked intense bidding before Hyderabad emerged victorious. The auction for Shami saw significant interest, with Kolkata Knight Riders initiating the bids. Chennai Super Kings quickly joined the fray, followed by a late challenge from Lucknow Super Giants. Ultimately, Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by Kavya Maran, outbid all competitors to land the experienced pacer.
Siraj for Gujarat Titans
Mohammed Siraj has played 93 matches to date in his IPL career and he took 93 wickets, with an average of 30.35, conceding nearly 8.65 runs per over with a best individual figure of 4/21.In the IPL Auction 2025, the Gujarat franchise acquired the services of Mohammed Siraj for Rs 12.25 Crore. On May 2024, he played his last IPL match against Rajasthan at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, India, and had bowling figures of 33/2.

Bhuvneshwar gets back home
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has played 176 matches to date in his IPL career and he took 181 wickets, with an average of 27.23, conceding nearly 7.56 runs per over with a best individual figure of 5/19.In the IPL Auction 2025, the Bangalore franchise acquired the services of Bhuvneshwar Kumar for Rs 10.75 Crore. In May 2024, he played his last IPL match against Kolkata at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, India, and had bowling figures of 25/0.
