The former Indian skipper Virender Sehwag trolled his ex teammate Amit Mishra during a YouTube Live. This trolling incident took place as the show’s host asked Amit Mishra if the SRH can still qualify for the playoffs. SRH is in second place with only two wins in their first eight games, after their defeat to MI on Thursday. While talking during a lively-lively cricbuzz session, Mishra diverted the subject and instead opened on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and his chances of reaching the playoffs.
Mishra’s Statement And Sehwag’s Reply
“I think it’s almost impossible. The brand of cricket they are playing right now, it will be hard to win all six matches. For that, they would have to do well in all departments. If Dhoni comes to bat up the order, he needs to play at least 30 balls, with all due to respect to their top order,” said Mishra.
However, Sehwag interrupted him, pointing out that the question was about SRH, not Dhoni or CSK.
Mishra promptly issued an apology, to which Sehwag responded: “It’s all because of Dhoni’s aura”.

Reason For Sehwag’s Response
Sehwag trolled Mishra as he unexpectedly changing the focus of Sunrisers Hyderabad to MS Dhoni and CSK. When asked about SRH’s chances of qualifying for playoffs, Mishra began analysing the situation of CSK, commenting on the role of rebounds of Dhoni and the overall performance of the team. Sehwag, known for his intelligence, quickly interrupted and remembered the Mishra that was about SRH, not CSK. His playful jab, “it’s all because of Dhoni’s aura,” he left everyone in divisions, highlighting how Dhoni’s legacy still dominates conversations-to-the-top.
