IPL 2025: In the case of death overs under pressure in the IPL, there are some batters who excel like no others can. Overs 16-20 are the most critical part of a T20 innings, where matches can turn around in the space of deliveries. Ever since IPL 2022, many power-hitters have established themselves by performing under pressure, winning games, and scoring runs at a rapid rate when their sides need them the most.
Leading this list of crème de la crème is Tim David, who has been the Mumbai Indians’ go-to man in the slog overs. With a mind-boggling strike rate of 195.04, David has scored 630 runs in the death overs alone—more than any other batsman in this time.
In case you're wondering, he can be both David and Goliath. 🔥
