The MI Head coach Mahela Jayawardene confirmed that the Mumbai Indians camp were officially communicated about Hardik Pandya’s ban, confirming that the all-rounder will sit out the first game in Chennai.
“Yeah, Surya, obviously leads India as well. When I am not there, he is the ideal choice in this format (to lead). He is an exciting option as well,” Hardik Pandya said.
